EMPLOYEE BENEFITS

RETIREMENT

401(k): Southland Utility Services, Inc. will match up to 2% of wages; option to elect 1% up to 80% each paycheck; eligible to participate after probationary period has ended and then it will become effective on the first day of the next quarter.

LEAVE

Employees earn 1.54 hours Paid Time Off (PTO) each pay period (weekly pay) to equal ten (10) PTO days per year. They are eligible to take their earned PTO starting the first pay period of the following year after their hire date. The rate of PTO increases with employment longevity per Southland policy.

HOLIDAYS

10 Paid Holidays per year.

BOOT ALLOWANCE

Construction and line clearing employees will be provided a pair of steel-toed boots as part of their safety equipment. Employees will be reimbursed for the cost of the boots, not to exceed $120.00. Supervisors will be responsible for determining when boot replacement at the company's expense is appropriate. Boots may be replaced up to one time a year if required due to wear and tear incurred on the job.

INSURANCE

Southland Utility Services, Inc. will pay $300 per month towards the elected health insurance premium or $200 towards elected supplemental coverages; eligible to participate after probationary period has ended and then it will become effective on the first day of the next month.
